Food for Thought: Sweet Love

Who doesn’t love something sweet?

This picture of a lovely heart-shaped cookie from the amazing Upper Crust Bakery in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood tasted as good as it looked.  Our kitchen has been home to a LOT of delicious, gourmet meals made, not by me, but by my sweetie. Bringing back this cookie was the least I could do!

They say the way to the heart is through the stomach. I heartily agree!

Don’t forget to spread the love this Valentine’s Day!

Kristen

Yummy! One year I baked a heart-shaped flourless chocolate cake for E and brought it to his desk @ work. His coworkers thought I was lying when I said I made it. Ah, the good old days! At this moment, making cupcakes from a box—still tasty, though! ;-)
