Atlantis Paradise Island is one of those magical places that delights you at every turn with it’s wonder. There are the stunning aquariums found in The Dig exhibit as well as glorious art and architecture stretching across the grounds, with a multitude of heavily flowered tropical paths to carry you around the extensive property. From there you can climp the Power Tower waterslides for an eye popping view of the beach from atop the Tower. This can be done without ever taking a plunge on the waterslide. It’s all there to stir your senses and leave you feeling like you’ve stepped into a true paradise. For starters The Atlantis is running a special right now called the Ultimate Paradise Package. For the most reasonable package a couple can have three nights in a terrace room in the Beach Tower with flights on Bahama Air (I chose Orlando for my departure location) with round trip transfers to the hotel and two meals daily at some outstanding restaurants. The package meal plan is a huge savings for any visitor. This provides guests with two restaurant choices for breakfast and several restaurant choices for dinner; including one fine dining restaurant where tables overlook the marine exhibit. When I viewed the website and the menu’s for the many restaurants within the resort I found the prices to be quite high so having this inclusive plan that includes full meals at a variety of restaurants during your stay is a wonderful savings! The total package which I priced out for a three night stay was $1,826.64 for two people inclusive of flights, room, transfers, food and the resort extras.

Included in every Paradise Island stay is their world class water park with an incredible choice of water slides, one which allows you to race your partner and see your final time, a lazy river that allows you to tube and relax with family or friends; and at least one water slide tube allows participants to view portions of the vast marine exhibit that includes 50,000 marine animals as you zip along the clear waterslide tube. Along with the water park and marine exhibit there is also a casino, a comedy club, a movie theatre and two beaches within the resort grounds for guests to enjoy. During my upcoming stay I will keep an eye out for my favorite parts of of the resort and add a piece or two about my stay after my return from Atlantis, Paradise Island.
