It’s Friday, and if you aren’t at the beach you’re probably dreaming of the beach. Indian Rocks Beach is one of my personal favorites in the Tampa St Petersburg area of Florida. These shots were taken on two different visits, one during the day and one toward evening.

For those visiting the area I recommend eating at either Tapas Garden Bistro and Wine Bar, which offers delicious Spanish tapas and seafood or Villa Gallace an elegant, but relaxed Italian restaurant offering homemade favorites. Both restaurants are across the street from Indian Rocks Beach.

Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite places around Tampa Bay.

This is a view from Backwater Grill on Sand Key with their exceptional Key Lime Pie Cheesecake. For several years this has been my favorite little local spot on the water.

Dimitri’s on the Water is my hands down favorite to share with family and friends in Tarpon Springs. They offer exceptional Greek food and a relaxing atmosphere on the Anclote River.

The last few weeks I’ve spent enjoying the beauty and splendor of fall. The leaves are in full color and the weather is beautiful. In honor of the fall beauty my Photo Friday selections are pictures I’ve taken in the Amish community of Northern Indiana.
