For those far from the coast Lake Michigan offers the beauty of a coastal beach, on the Great Lakes. Weko Beach is a public beach outside the city of Bridgman, on Lake Michigan. The beach offers kayak rentals, camping facilities (off the beach) an outlook and a beachside cafe with sandwiches, burgers, ice cream and snacks. Weko Beach is a wonderful place to relax and spend a day on the water.
Islands and travel are two of my greatest passions. Ten years of my life was spent living and working overseas, six of those years on islands in the pacific. My travels have taken me through the Pacific islands, Asia and Europe.
I recognize that the world is filled with many amazing places and diverse cultures to explore. Even after ten years of travel I feel there is so much of the world left to see. My other passions include writing, living near the ocean and helping people heal.
