As the days lengthen and we have more warm sunlight we begin planning backyard BBQ’s and gatherings with family and friends. Sharing sunny evenings with treasured friends begins with easy recipes and relaxed menus. In honor of Wanderfood Wednesday I’m sharing two cocktail recipes to enjoy at your next backyard BBQ, or evening with friends.
This Lemon Meringue Martini shot is simple, quick and and attractive as an adult cocktail dessert. After all, who doesn’t love Lemon Meringue topped with whipped cream? This Martini shot is made with four easy ingredients, including vodka, fresh juice and cool whip. You’ll find all the ingredients and measurements through the link above.

Another option is the Sunshine Dazzler with a combination of vodka, champagne and fruit juices. This is a good option for larger gatherings as you can make a pitcher at a time.
