Lebanese Cuisine

Beirut Cafe offers a taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine in the St. Petersburg area. The restaurant is a small comfortable cafe with exceptional food. The owner Hana, is Lebanese and prepares the food herself. When I had lunch at Beirut Cafe I tried the Beef Steak Kabab with grilled vegetables and garlic sauce. It was excellent, the steak was delicately spiced and exceptionally tender. Along with the steak, the garlic sauce and the hummus were outstanding.

Lebanese food

I had an opportunity to try Beirut Cafe’s Tabouleh which is a delicate mix of parsley, tomatoes, onion, bulgar wheat, olive oil, lemon juice and mint. I’ve tried Tabouleh many times and this was by far the best I’ve had. Beirut Cafe is a wonderful spot and I highly recommend a visit. When you’re in the mood for dessert The Beirut Cafe offers a variety of Lebanese treats. The Cafe will speak for it’s self and you’ll find yourself returning again.

Six of us went recently and had a variety of wonderful foods. It was interesting and delicious! We would highly recommend it. The owners were very attentive and kind, which made it all the more enjoyable. We will return and in the mean time try to spread the word.
