After spending a decade living overseas one of my favorite treats is to find delicious international foods close to home. So when I discovered Byblos Cafe at 2832 South MacDill Ave in Tampa I was thrilled. This restaurant has an exceptional menu of mediterreanean cuisine with a focus on Lebanese and Greek taste temptations. There is an incredible selection of Mezah, traditional Lebanese appetizers, among them are Shanklish, Fatayer, Baba Ghanuj and Falafel.

The entrees offer an amazing array of choices, including Shish Kabob, Shawrma, Grape leaves or vegetarian choices including Falafel, Hummus and Tabbouleh. This restaurant is relaxing and filled with delightful surprises such as a corner table made of a bed so that diners can eat on a bed of pillows surrounded by filmy drapes. There are also couch like table seating areas and traditional style tables as well. There are three rooms in the restaurant and a small bar. On weekends diners can enjoy a belly dancing show. This is a great spot for lunch or dinner.
