Beijing Snow

Everyone had told us snow was not common in Beijing due to the cold, dry temperatures. Still, my daughter, who left Seattle at 23 months and had never seen snow before, was hopeful for the winter. Little did we know we’d have a white winter wonderland the day after Halloween! The jack-o-lanterns, witches, and ghosts got quite a chill as the white flakes descended upon Beijing early this morning.
