Marie Walden lives in Colorado and is the mother of six children. After spending many years tending the home fires and rearing her brood, she has recently begun to travel again. She has a keen interest in history and culture and a strong desire to connect with the local population, especially the women and children, wherever she goes.

Marie spends her spare time reading, hiking, writing, and earning her place in the Domestic Goddess Hall of Fame!
