After speaking at Village Books in Bellingham this week, I got together with a couple of friends, Lori and Randy, who live in the area. We sat in the upstairs cafe, chatted next to the fireplace and talked politics, travel and dancing. Yes, dancing – going out to dance and watching it on Youtube.
I was surprised to hear that Matt Harding’s video had just made it to Lori’s inbox a couple of days earlier. I thought everyone knew about Seattle’s-own Matt. I was wrong.
So, in an attempt to spread some cheer and hopefully reach some folks who don’t know about Matt’s video(s), drum roll please, heeeere’s Matt.
This particular video was shot as he traveled through 42 countries over 14 months and brings together “dancers” from around the world – including a tribe in Papua New Guinea.
And, with the hope that this doesn’t make you run screaming, here’s a link on Facebook of me at Wide World Books and Maps making a poor attempt at dancing the Matt Harding jig.
Travel Well!

WOW! How did he find all those people to dance with him at all those different locations? Man, he has been some places! I’m very envious!
