Rosalind Cummings-Yeates
Scaling Costa Rican volcanoes, flying through Caribbean rainforests and dancing with Brazilian priestesses are just some of the adventures that travel writing has created for Rosalind Cummings-Yeates. As a freelance travel writer and blogger, she specializes in Caribbean and Latin American travel and culture. Her stories have appeared in Hemispheres, MSN, Salon, Rough Guide to Women Travel, Go Magazine, Chicago Sun Times, Sky Writings Magazine ( Jamaica Air), Pathfinders Travel and Not For Tourists Guide To Chicago, to name a few publications.
When not traipsing across continents, Rosalind lives in Chicago with her husband, a cat, a rabbit and two passport-sporting kids. She also writes a local blues column and teaches journalism courses at Columbia College Chicago. Visit her at Farsighted Fly Girl.
