Nancy Brown

Nancy D. Brown is a freelance writer specializing in adventure and luxury travel.  Born in Oakland, California, Nancy lived in Boston for a year after graduating from the University Of Oregon School Of Journalism.  A third generation Californian, she cruises from Carmel to Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino on a regular basis.  Reviews of Inns and resorts have become her specialty.  Recent trips include Amsterdam, Portugal and Spain with trips to Norway and Switzerland planned for 2009.

Nancy lives with a supportive husband, two passport carrying teenagers and a goofy yellow Labrador.  She writes the “What a Trip” column for the Contra Costa Times Lamorinda Sun, is the Uptake.com Travel Editor, and writes the What a Trip blog.
