O Waho OluKai Boots: WanderGear Wednesday

by Beth Whitman - Wanderluster (December 7th, 2011)

O wahoo olukai bootOluKai is best known for their flip flops and sandals. But I love their boots. And I mean LOVE, all caps.

The O Waho (how can you NOT love the name, too) slip-ons feature a water-resistant upper – making them OK to wear all winter long. The footbed has a triple-layer of high-density EVA (a rubber-like foam that’s nice and cushy), giving your heel and mid-foot comfortable support.

The boot’s bottom is an all-weather, non-marking rubber sole so you can wear them in the rain and indoors without fear of scuffing floors.

I wear these in light rain but wouldn’t head out with them on in the snow. Mainly because they aren’t the warmest boots I have. But, they are stylin’. And, truth be told, the fact that they slip on make them easy for me to grab as I head out the door. There’s no doubt I’ll wear these throughout the winter.

Available on Amazon for $160.

Travel Well,

Beth
