WanderGear Wednesday: Cabin Cuddler

Cabin CuddlerNo, a Cabin Cuddler isn’t your new boyfriend. It’s a travel blanket, pillow and cocoon that makes it hard not to want to just wrap yourself up and take a nap.

This warm fleece is literally crafted with “wings” that wrap around your upper body and arms and a “pocket” into which you can insert your feet. It was designed by a pilot who noticed how chilly his passengers would get in-flight. Bringing the Cabin Cuddler means you don’t have to cover yourself in those filthy airline blankets if and when they are offered.

Some of the bennies of the Cabin Cuddler:

  • Can fit someone as tall as six feet
  • Great for overnight train trips
  • Includes inflatable pillow which fits into reversible tote
  • Comes with a carry bag

What might prevent me from using it:Cabin Cuddler at Home

  • It’s slightly on the large side when in its pouch – it’d be difficult to stuff this into my daybag
  • Definitely best for longer flights, train rides or drives

Of course, no one said you have to ONLY use this for travel. I fit into this just fine on the couch with a bowl of popcorn watching Lost on Hulu! Retails for under $25.

Now that looks comfortable! I can see myself using that at my desk in my office.
