It was given to me at my family birthday party at which my grandson, Adam, took photos of my kids singing a crazy song to me. He didn't know how to use it, so took everyone sideways. When I tried to right them, we all looked fat as pigs. Bummer. But I was worried about the amount of recording time I'd have while in Tanzania, so bought a neat, tiny Sony for a helluva lot more money. As you said in your piece--and this bears repeating--you'd be amazed at how much you can record in one hour. I am still learning and also realized that I didn't need so many cards or batteries for the Kili climb. Live and learn. So true.
