Can you tell where this was taken? China? Northern Vietnam?
Nope. This was from the plane on my way out of Seattle on Wednesday. While the city was covered in clouds, once the plane broke through the cloud ceiling, we had an amazing view of Mt. Rainer and this layered mountain range. I’ve never seen the mountains like this before and couldn’t believe how much they looked like photos of the mountain ranges I’ve seen of China.

Fabulous shot. Never would have believed you got it from your seat in the plane.

Why do my plane photos just get a view of the wing?

that’s a gorgeous shot! My brother is big on plane shots. I’ve tried and tried, but to no effect:) However, I did once get an insanely great view of the north pole and of course my camera had no batteries:)
