San Fran Workshops, Photo Contest and Book Expo

On Friday I depart for Los Angeles (via Virgin America!) to attend Book Expo America – the biggest book event in the U.S. I’m looking forward to checking out new trends in books (most importantly, travel) and meeting up with some old and new friends.

I then fly up to San Francisco on Monday, where I’ll be conducting a series of travel workshops, Wandering the World: Essential Tips for Travelers at 3 Bay Area REIs. If you’re in the ‘hood, please come by to see me. Pre-register and save $3 on the workshop fee of $20. I’ll have handouts, a slide show and a contest give-away!

Coincidentally, my brother is flying into SFO next week to begin a week-long Harley ride (yes, I ride a BMW, he rides a Harley, and we still get along fabulously) so I’ll get to see him for a few moments while he gets geared up.
