What did you do with your tax return?

Give me an excuse as to why you can’t travel to a particular destination, and I’ll give you a way to get around that excuse and help you see how you CAN get there.

As I previously blogged, my two dream destinations are Papua New Guinea and the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Why haven’t I been? Money! (Or so I told myself.)

You should know, that when I received my tax return this year, I placed that money in a special savings account that is now designated as my dream travel fund. Don’t know which location I’ll get to first, but I’m a determined woman now.

Happy Travels!

Some of us actually PAY taxes. The saving grace about working in China is that the US government and the Chinese government have a reciprocal tax agreement. This means that the income tax I pay on my Chinese income is deducted from my taxes due from renting my house in America so I usually break even. Otherwise I would have to PAY taxes on my US rental income.
