Behind all this fun, the site is quite popular and the more savvy Indians definitely use these types of services to find their husbands and wives.

One friend of ours from Seattle has come back to India to help his 36 year old sister get married. He explained that since she’s the oldest, it’s custom for her to get married before the two younger brothers can get married. And even more important because she’s female.
